1.
Nine Pretty Ladies Nine pretty ladies talk to me they tell me things I should repeat They know me so well they know what I need Nine pretty ladies, talk to me nine pretty ladies come to me they dance around me in my sleep throughout the world they stay with me nine pretty ladies come to me nine pretty ladies did me seek with naked feet they walked with me their sweet smile is seldom seen nine pretty ladies seek for me nine pretty ladies set me free they carry me the break me free
2.
Between heaven and hell I went down where the crows feed where the last meal is hard as steel all the streets are cul de sac you ain't the first one nor the last everyone's gone away I just happened to be there when the snow cleared away and disclosed our naked pains All my dreams are buried there somewhere there, between heaven and hell Yes I know it very well I know I can't escape I'm eroding like a rock ticking loudly as frantic clock I always know I could be wrong I just can't think of it no more time will show who has fell you are so convinced of what you deserve you say you are sorry in so many ways but sorry wasn't really meant how I'm crawling day to day not really aiming to heaven or hell
3.
Did you know? did you know? there's a cue of broken men outside your door have you thought? all the ways you can decide which way to go? but myself I don't know if I should wait or runaway you were the one the lucky one who got to see it all But I've learned, to sail away in storm and read the winds and see the storm before it dares to appeared did you know? all those stories about me where all made up I'm not the one the lucky one who's seen it all did you know? there's a million ways for one to show some love have you thought? all the times you could have made what you did not yes, I know I know I've tried so hard to accomplish nought then who's the one? the lucky one who's seen it all? did you know? I expect to meet my dreams at every dawn have you thought? that some things have got a ways to never die as for me, I find that hopeless love is just my thing and who knows? after all I might be who'll see it all
4.
Exile 06:59
Exile I wish these words were brave and bold this ink is mute and words are gone the winter has been long cloud of unknowing hangs upon my soul another shore another port another mountain crowned with untouched snow your absence is present all around in my blathering nights conversing alone of all the things my hands have done they never stole or despoil no one I'm punctual as a star but I've never been docile memories wash down in a flash and gone just as fast I hear voices that I know in languages long gone feel like gambling my luck with dice I could not load still the sun is weak and the nights are long darkness leaking from my soul cracking through my voice the wind is blunt on my face there's nothing I can do
5.
sense of foreboding I rose my eyes as she walked in she stood some way in front of me and the only place I wished to be it was with her in some lime green fields as if it was handwritten on the wall as if foretold she owned my soul at once and I, I could not let her go for life works in strange ways she sat right there by my side her eyes of green shone through me I could no longer think of anything
6.
The Princess 03:55
The Princess she dreams girlish stories while she's awake and asks me to be the king in this tale she's so sure of her role I'm having a laugh cause this little actress has gotten my heart then she stops pretending and sits by my side she wraps me in her arms I melt like ice now we are watching a film she forgets about maths I forget for a moment that her world will be tough she stops the transmission to tell me a tell about how strong is maiden with plaids she dwells in my veins and I dwell in hers she's the blessing that I never deserved 'cause life is a warfare and s stranger soujourn her happiness is all and best I can do when she asks me about God and all that stuff I tell her a story hoping she understood in everything we see a hand's been involved and yet our essence is imperishable don't dwell in the future it'll come soon enough 'cause present's the thing the only we've got we are the doubter and we are the doubt our mind cannot help all our idle hopes what's that it matters, if anything at all? I think it's the courage we use to approach 'til the sun grows cold and the seas dry up my love for you'll stay right with your heart she dreams girlish stories while she's awake and asks me to be the king in this tale
7.
Over these ruins Ask a bird, that lost its wings a captain, who sunk his ship a dreamer, who cannot sleep a fish, dragged out of the sea ask a lover of jilted love the immigrant without a job the carousel, with no wooden horse ask the hand that strikes an off key chord But I still can see over these ruins that I've built ask the raindrops that fall on flood ask the poet 'bout writers' block ask the law, without a God ask the future about the past
8.
Don't let me down Don't let me down I'm calling you this time to hear what's wrong right from your mouth though there's nothing left for us to talk about you won't let me down the sweetest prettiest things sometimes are just unripe a ghosts is pretty doomed chasing flies I won't let you down I wouldn't be the down giving you any sort of advice I know there's poison when I see fangs don't let me down the stories you were telling me, they were all lies I know the one who sits silently in the back don't let me down I'm calling you this time and I know it'll be the last it's funny when just noise is on the line
9.
Temperance 03:50
Temperance I hear voices in my head I know it can't be hers I'm worried and worn out I cannot tame my mind I need some temperance Was very aware of those charms flowing like a river wild I've gone a thousand miles to try you once or twice I needed some temperance I walked barefoot on hot stones I shaved my beard with a sharpened sword I rose up from my slum I didn't know where I was at I needed some temperance
10.
Happy Lonesome When the stars collide, Up above the sky our minds run free, our souls sing hymns for those glorious days, we shall not forget and in the lonely night, soon the sun will rise melodies will sound, in the morning light when I'll disappear, with the daylight mist you'll look for me, with blazing ire I'll be someone else, happy lonesome man but I'll return at night and I'll be your, happy lonesome man a mortal sweet caress, we all need this bless we can't buy the gifts, born in our skins we can't pay in gold, for that human touch I will bring to you, a whole brand new world when my roving's done, and when the night it falls and I promise you that I'll be your happy lonesome man
11.
Lullaby 02:36
Lullaby some things, will never die there's so much I want to tell you about daily, you fill my heart forever and since you arrived I miss you, miss your laugh, I miss your smile I miss you when you sleep Daddy is never far I love you so much you are my pride
12.
I watch and hear the captain drunk think we'd be better off when he's finally gone have you've been paying attention to all what you've seen or reading the news tailored for you? did they make you choose either left or right? have you ever consider to take your own path? when I hear music I look yonder upwards I imagine it moving in space with no sound I hold onto shadows 'cause they understand hide myself behind them they keep me alright many times I've been there only one step away to get really insane with every fear I've faced I've seen the heroes I've listened the wise I stand with no shame for nor being like them though lessons are learnt and stuck in my mind I distract myself quickly just to prove that ain't right you think about freedom with little few facts but you're only seeing the show and the lights I look at my neighbour try to understand what the hell is he doing with heavy load guns when I look at the distance all the rain that fell I wonder amazed if I'd fall where I stand times are obscure they keep hiding the truth it's just a big circus for all of us fools
