wind is blowing mad outside my door
city is covered in a thick black cloud
somewhere Noah's readying up his boat

I feel a hand pushing me northwest
from southern winds we expect bringing some change

Uncle Sam's sitting on his porch
he's cursing rain before it even falls
he knows the swamp is gonna flood
he knows that people gonna lose their homes
a hundred mile an hour wind's a nasty blow
it carries death among its tolls

-roar, outside my door, roar, mad wind blow

rattling windows soon to break
ghosts amok opening doors
tides come rushing devouring land
a spooky whistling, lunatic roar

the answer my friend's long gone
things have changed, the poet wrote
wind is blowing madly outside my door
buildings are falling like dominoes
